Mother of Chemistry

In the fall of 2020, I directed a project entitled 'Mother of Chemistry', written by Rex McGregor for White Mouse Productions's 365 Women a Year Festival. Rehearsals for the production were completely virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the team was able to come together for one day to shoot the project for the online festival after taking necessary safety precautions. The play featured "Father of Chemistry" Antoine Lavoisier and his wife Marie-Anne, who must save her husband from the guillotine. Directing this play during the pandemic presented its challenges, but was an opportunity to be creative in working with a virtual medium.
