#FREEBRITNEY

As a part of the "#FREEBRITNEY" theater project, I had the opportunity to collaborate with director Sarah Hinzman and four other actors for the FSU Social Issues Project. Together we devised a piece that addressed the controversial conservatorship of Britney Spears. Our goal was to use theater as a medium to explore themes of agency, celebrity culture, and womanhood. The piece consisted of vignettes, one of which I had the privilege of performing as I sang and played the piano. I'm proud to have been a part of such a powerful project.
